Terms and Conditions
Our days are planned around the time allocated for each scheduled treatment, if you are running late this may impact on the treatment we are able to offer, however we will always endeavour to provide your full service where time allows.
If it’s your first visit to us we ask that you arrive 10minutes prior to your treatment time to enjoy a complementary drink while you complete a client record card for us.
We are happy to send you a treatment reminder but if you find you cannot attend please let us know 24hours prior to the treatment booking or a cancellation fee of 50% may be charged.
Data protection / client records
Client confidentiality is important to us. We know we sometimes have to ask personal information to support your salon treatment so we make sure all client record in a password protected computer file or in a locked cabinet.
We do use contact information to send treatment reminders, birthday vouchers and salon promotions from time to time. If you would rather not receive these please let us know at your next visit.
Our expertise to provided a safe and effective treatment is based on the information you provide us so please keep us up to date of any recent changes to your medical history.
As part of our commitment to your safety in the salon we will request patch test you for specific treatments such as lash tinting. Due to the severity of possible reactions we would not be happy to proceed with certain treatments is a patch test is refused. We will advise you at the time of booking if a patch test is required for the treatment.
We take health & hygiene very seriously and so follow strict sensitisation and sterilisation procedures for all salon treatments. Where possible we use disposable tools. We hold licences for skin piercing treatments which cover treatments where we may pierce the skin such as epilation and we hold room approval for our IPL practices.
Gift Vouchers & Loyalty Cards
All gift vouchers are valid for 12 months after purchase. Should you lose your voucher please contact the salon prior to your visit so we can check our records so we can advise if the voucher can still be used.
Promotional and competition vouchers may only be valid for 3months so please check the date on the voucher before booking.
We love to treat you! But please be advised that loyalty points & discount cards can only be used by the named person and cannot be transferred to another.
Payments & pricing
We accept Skin Couture gift vouchers, cash and all major credit & debit cards. In some cases you may wish to pay in advance or from a distance for treatments or gift vouchers, if you would like to pay over the phone or via BACS please give us a call.
The local cash point can be found within the Caistor co-op, 5minutes walk from the salon.
We request that treatment courses are paid at the time of booking. Parties at the salon require a 50% payment on booking
We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice and conduct and an annual pricing review to ensure we remain cost effective, competitive and a viable business.
Noise disruption & mobiles phones
The salon is a haven for relaxation to escape from the stresses and demands of the outside world. Our treatment rooms are often used for relaxing massage and holistic therapies so please be conscious of conversations levels when moving through the salon. We would also request that you turn phones to silent so they do not disrupt your treatment.
We do not allow smoking on the salon premise so please be advised that the entire salon is a non smoking zone including entranceways.
